Tom & Phyllis Smith are fifth generation ranchers on the Smith Ranch, founded in 1882 in Lewistown, the heart of Central Montana. Our Son & daughter-in-law Bret & Renae Smith are the sixth generation ranchers. We have a commercial cow/calf operation and raise black hided cattle. We source and age verify every cow and calf on our ranch. We handle our cattle in a very humane manner and strive for uniformity and fast growing calves.
