The Implementation Specialist supports the development and implementation of SureHarvest’s agricultural sustainability software solutions, including the Sustainability MIS platform as well as third-party software products. The Implementation Specialist reports to the Director of Implementation and is responsible for various stages of implementation of software solutions, including support for client software inquiries, assisting with new or existing system installations, carrying out testing of the work products once they are completed, and ongoing user support. In collaboration with SureHarvest’s multi-disciplinary team, the Implementation Specialist will contribute their expertise to select professional services and consulting projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Support the Sustainability MIS product with testing of active and new systems, internally and externally.
Provide user support for sustainability software solutions, in coordination with other SureHarvest team members.
Provide training and customer service on applicable software programs to ensure on schedule and on budget delivery of products and services.
Assist customer testing, troubleshooting, training and support policy, methods, and tools during implementation of sustainability platforms.
Provide quick responses to clients for support related to sustainability software solutions and escalate to the Director of Implementation as needed.
Contribute to professional services and consulting related to sustainable agriculture solutions.
Support sales and company business development including proposal development processes, presentations, project budgeting, attendance at conferences, and other associated activities.
Assist with online demos and assisting with automating the implementation process.
Provide back up to other MIS product solutions (e.g., Farming MIS) as needed.
Track billable hours and support with generation of client invoices.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience:
A degree in agriculture, natural or social sciences, computer science, or equivalent is required.
Experience relevant to agri-food systems and sustainability programs, software technical product support and development, and/or client-facing roles requiring exceptional customer service.
Must possess a problem solving and solution-oriented approach coupled with a client focused mindset.
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with internal staff and clients.
Ability to keep accurate records, prepare and manage invoices, reports, letters, and billing.
Expertise with various software programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, software issue tracking (e.g, Jira), time tracking. Experience with Business Intelligence reporting (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies.
Ability to listen attentively, analyze and identify with potential client problems and position SureHarvest technologies and services as a solution.

Flexibility, focus and resilience in the face of high workload and competing demands.
Experience and proven ability to organize, track and follow up on multiple projects.
Maintain confidentiality.
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Able to use standard computer keyboard on a frequent basis.
Able to walk up and down stairs and to sit for up to 8 hours.
Working Conditions:
San Ramon, CA, Castle Rock, CO, or Remote Option
Some travel required (~10%)
