As a WFCF Organic Mentorship Program Management Intern, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our mentorship programs. Working closely with our dedicated team, you will gain hands-on experience in program coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable insights into the world of agricultural mentorship and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Mentorship Program Implementation:
Assist in responding to mentorship-related inquiries, ensuring effective communication and coordination across departments.
Participate in conducting interviews for potential mentors and mentees, evaluating their needs and qualifications.
Collaborate with the
Support mentor and mentee onboarding processes.
Contribute to developing mentor/mentee communication plans.
Help facilitate ongoing communication between mentors and mentees.
Ensure compliance with established best practices and protocols throughout the mentorship process.
Regional Mentorship Program Oversight:
Track and report mentorship program metrics to meet reporting requirements.
Collaborate with TOPP Team and Core Partners to monitor regional mentorship program progress.
Organize regular meetings with Core Partners to ensure program deliverables are on track.
Provide updates on the regional mentorship program's progress and address any concerns with the TOPP Team.
Mentor and Mentee Recruitment:
Assist in developing an ongoing mentor recruitment plan.
Coordinate marketing efforts, including the creation and distribution of program materials.
Attend events to promote TOPP and recruit mentors and mentees.
Collaborate with the TOPP Program Coordinator on marketing and outreach initiatives.
Support mentor and mentee inquiries and maintain clear communication throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Follow established policies and procedures for mentor and mentee screening.
Working Details:
Paid at an hourly rate
Part-time up to 29.75 hours/week
Temporary position for 15 weeks
