The Intern will gain hands-on experience in the agriculture industry, work closely with experienced professionals and mentors, and have an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with data collection, entry, and analysis for specific projects
Collaborate with team members to achieve specific objectives
Assist with market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the agricultural industry
Support customer relationship management activities, including customer outreach, feedback collection, and database management
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other communication materials for internal and external stakeholders
Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas to discussions
Complete assigned tasks within deadlines and maintain accurate records
Participate in training sessions and professional development activities
Perform any other responsibilities as needed
Required Skills & Experience
Currently enrolled in an agriculture, agribusiness, agronomy, horticulture, environmental science, sustainable farming, or similar degree program or recent graduate
Experience with agriculture and/or food supply chain management such as beef/dairy cattle, poultry, crop production, swine, seafood, consumer packaged goods
Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated
Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
Teamwork attitude with a strong aptitude for professionalism and courtesy
Ability to process a high volume of data in a productive and quality driven manner
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with internal/external staff, vendors, and clients

Flexibility, focus and resilience in the face of high workload and competing demands
Maintain confidentiality
Physical Requirements
Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
Able to use standard computer keyboard on a frequent basis.
Able to walk up and down stairs and to sit for up to 8 hours.
Working Conditions
Castle Rock, CO office
Some travel required (~5%)
Internships are temporary with a start and end date each semester
