The Data Integrity Assistant supports the divisions of Where Food Comes From, Inc. with routine data entry, analysis, reconciliation, and preparation of reports and other administrative tasks.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Â
Support operations teams ongoing data entry and analysis into various company databases and external systems, including the Organic Integrity Database.
Audit and validate data entries regularly to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Develop and implement innovative data management protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and resolve data collaboration. Â
Maintain and update data management systems and databases.
Generate and analyze reports to monitor data quality and integrity.
Perform preliminary data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
Support the development and maintenance of data models and algorithms.
Document and report data issues and resolutions.
Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and provide accurate data solutions.
Participate in data-related projects and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and company policies.
Keep important information and company documents organized electronically while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Perform any other responsibilities as needed.
Required Skills & Experience:
Highschool diploma or GED
1 year of proven data entry support
Highly detail-oriented and self-motivated
Skilled in data quality and analytics
Teamwork attitude with a strong aptitude for professionalism and courtesy
Demonstrates high level of ability to learn new, diverse knowledge on company programs
Ability to process a high volume of data in a productive and quality driven manner
Ability to keep accurate records, prepare and manage files, reports, and letters
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and strong overall computer skills required
Proficiency with data management tools
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing with internal/external staff, vendors, and clients
Maintains alignment with Where Food Comes From, Inc.’s Mission, Purpose, and Values
Flexibility, focus and resilience in the face of high workload and competing demands
Maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Higher education in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field
Strong analytical skills
Experience in industries with agriculture, agri-food systems, sustainability, and/or food, beverage, consumer-packaged goods certifications are a plus
Experience with data analytics
Ability to handle large datasets to help drive business insights and decision-making processes
Possess a problem solving and solution-oriented approach coupled with a client focused mindset

Physical Requirements
Able to use standard computer keyboard on a frequent basis.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
Frequent use of hands to operate office equipment, including computers and phones.
Visual acuity to read detailed data on a computer screen.

Castle Rock, CO office, Medina, ND office or remote
