McGlamory Farms

In the heart of South Georgia, one family’s story is rooted in resilience, tradition, and Southern grit. For generations, the McGlamory family has worked the red clay between Abbeville and Rochelle, Georgia, weathering wars, the Great Depression, and changing times. Through it all, two things have never left their land — cows and peanuts.

This short documentary captures the spirit of a legacy farm that’s learned to adapt and thrive — from growing more than ten crops to running a peanut co-op and farm store — all while keeping family at the center of it all. Experience the sights, sounds, and soul of Southern farming — from big family gatherings and hot summer days to the deep love that keeps this family rooted.
